Briefing Seminar: 5th December 2017: 9.15 – 11.00am
SM&B offices: 8-9 Frith Street, London W1D 3JB
Last month the Prime Minister launched the Race Disparity Audit which examines how people of different backgrounds are treated across areas including health, education, employment and the criminal justice system.
As the Audit notes: It shows a complex picture. Some of the disparities identified are uncomfortable and some give genuine cause for optimism. In some measures there are significant disparities between and within ethnic groups, and in others there has been a narrowing of the gaps between ethnicities. There are also big differences in outcomes in different parts of the country.
This short seminar will provide you with:
– A summary of the audit’s results
– The implications for sectors and organisations
– Government thinking on what needs to happen
– Next Steps
