Sung is an Associate in the Employment Team. He has specialist experience in advising both individuals and companies in both employment (contentious and non-contentious) and data protection law.
Sung is fluent in Korean and is a lead advisor for many multinational Korean companies who turn to him for advice and guidance on their UK business operations. He is also a solicitor advocate and as well as having the right to represent clients in all courts, he has previously been a Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Briggs working on commercial disputes, as well as assisting Lord Justice Elias and Lord Justice Underhill on employment appeals.
Sung is deeply committed to advising clients on a pro bono basis. He has been an advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Free Representation Unit and is currently a pro bono advisor at London Central Employment Tribunal as part of the ELIPS Scheme. Sung is also heavily involved in education charity work for the Korean community and is a Trustee at the London Korean School and at the Korean Education Foundation.
