James is an Associate in the Media: Content & Disputes team. He advises on a broad range of media law issues including defamation (with experience at trial), breach of confidence, reputation management (both in print and online), privacy (including urgent injunctions), reporting restrictions, and data protection.

James works with both claimants and defendants and assists with providing advice on pre-publication advice to publishers, and recently completed an in-house secondment at an Ofcom regulated broadcaster.

Prior to his legal career he ran a successful music PR company, and presented a radio show for which he won a Sony Radio Gold Award.
