Fiona works as a Paralegal in the Music Team and is studying her LPC part time.

Prior to joining SM&B in 2019, Fiona worked in the music industry for eight years in a number of roles including in tour management, sync, brand partnerships and artist advocacy. Most recently, she worked to represent over 600 music managers at the Music Managers Forum as Director of Strategy and Operations, advocating for transparency and accountability in the music business. Fiona has authored published papers on the making available right and streaming economics as part of her Entertainment Law LLM, written articles on mental health in music (The Guardian) and the value of music managers (Music Business Worldwide) and in 2018 launched the educational and funding initiative The Accelerator Programme for Music Managers in partnership with YouTube Music.

At SM&B, Fiona assists the music team on matters related to contract law and commercial negotiations for recording artists, songwriters, composers, music managers, producers, labels and publishers in the music and wider entertainment industries.

Fiona is on the Music Advisory Board for In Place of War.
