Erica is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Media: Content and Disputes Teams with a broad media and commercial litigation practice.

As part of the Media team, Erica acts for both the print media and online publishers advising on a wide spectrum of media related issuing including defamation, privacy and harassment. She regularly acts for publishers in defending pre-publication privacy injunctions, as well as undertaking more general pre-publication clearance work for both written and video content. Erica also advises musicians and artists on matters involving contract, IP and licensing issues and more broadly has a wide range of experience in commercial litigation acting for both claimants and defendants in respect of breach of contract, professional negligence, intellectual property, regulatory matters and breach of trust litigation.

She has been ranked in the Chambers and Partners directory as an “Associate to watch” and is “praised by clients for her ability to “absorb extremely complex matters, assess and analyse information and obtain desired outcomes”. Erica is qualified to practice in both New Zealand and Australia, and before settling in London spent time in both jurisdictions practising in dispute resolution.
