We are able to offer a variety of recruitment opportunities to graduates, solicitors, barristers, personal assistants and support staff.

We strongly believe that our continued success is due to the exceptionally talented individuals we have attracted and developed. We are committed to recruiting candidates of the highest calibre and from as diverse a range as possible.

We are always keen to hear from conscientious, highly motivated, free thinking and committed individuals. In return we offer excellent career opportunities, a professional and friendly working environment, exposure to stimulating and high quality work from the outset and reward which is commensurate to your contribution.

Please see below for the current opportunities we have for lawyers, support staff and trainee solicitors, and for details of our summer vacation scheme.

Types of Roles

  • Lawyer

We are a dynamic firm and will always consider applications from talented, dynamic and enterprising individuals.

We have no fixed model for recruitment but we look for excellence and commitment and entrepreneurship.  As well as recruiting solicitors and partners, we have successfully recruited consultants, barristers, legal executives and other individuals with suitable legal experience who want to be part of our team.

  • Trainee

We offer trainee lawyers an exceptional opportunity to gain qualifying work experience in an open and diverse environment with partners and lawyers who are leaders in their fields.

Trainees will have the opportunity to gain experience in some of the firm’s major practice areas: Media; Corporate, Commercial and Finance (including Film and TV, IP, Broadcasting and Tech); Dispute Resolution; (including Media and Communications Disputes); and Employment. Trainees may also be able to gain experience in other departments such as: Family; the Death Penalty Project and Crime. It should be noted, however, that the practice areas available for trainees may change from time to time and that there is no guarantee that any particular practice areas will be made available in respect of any particular trainee.

Applications from both law and non-law graduates are welcome. However, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate they have passed the LPC or SQE 1 & 2 to an appropriate standard and are entitled to work in the United Kingdom without any additional approvals by commencement of the training contract. You should be able to demonstrate a consistently high level of academic and personal achievement, independent thinking and a desire for excellence.

We usually have one intake of trainees each year commencing in October. Our application window is 1 May to 31 October each year for intakes commencing in two years’ time.  Included in the offer to successful candidates will be financial support of up to £5,000 for the SQE 2 course and examination fee, which will be reimbursed on completion of the training contract.

Please see the Vacancy section below for the application process.

  • Support

We employ a dedicated and experienced team of support staff, who bring a level of professionalism to all of their duties.

Our staff maintain an exceptional work ethic and are pro-active in supporting our partners and lawyers. They also offer a personal and professional experience to our clients.

Please see below for any current vacancies that we have for support staff.

  • Vacation Scheme

Our summer vacation scheme takes place each year in July. For 2024, the scheme will take place from 1-12 July. It is an excellent way to get an insight into life as a trainee at the firm.

The scheme will see each student experience a variety of legal work across two weeks. Each student will sit in at least one of our core practice groups (Dispute Resolution, Media or Corporate, Commercial & Finance) and personal preferences will be catered for where possible.

Please note that placements with the Death Penalty Project are not part of the vacation scheme.

Applications open on 1 December and close on 15 March each year. During that timeframe, please click here for details on eligibility and how to apply.
